Does that imply the file name is user_prefs or that you put the local.cf
in a directory called user_prefs???

These should be:
/var/CommuniGate/Accounts/[username].macnt/account.web/.spamassassin/use
r_pr
efs
/var/CommuniGate/Domains/[domain]/[username].macnt/account.web/.spamassa
ssin
/user_prefs
Make sure that in you configure CGPSA to run in full-featured mode and
to
use user prefs and user state (if you'll have individual Bayes
databases)
